The Harvest Table: One Piece, Endless Possibilities

Some pieces of furniture are workhorses. The Harvest Table is one of them, Rustic enough to feel grounded, elegant enough to anchor a black-tie affair, and versatile enough that we've built everything from backyard birthday parties to tented weddings around it. Change the runner, the chairs, the florals, and it becomes an entirely different room. That's the trick of it: the table never changes, but it never looks the same twice.
Start with a Runner
Our go-to starting point is a long runner stretched the full length of the table either stopping cleanly at the edge or spilling onto the ground for something softer and more romantic. The runner isn't just decoration; it's the foundation everything else gets built on. Candles, mini lanterns, flower arrangements, potted herbs, trailing greenery all live on top of that base, and it's where a theme really starts to take shape.
For one chic, rustic tented wedding, we ran a lush garland of mixed greenery down a gauze beige runner and lined it with white pillar candles. Simple materials, but the effect was anything but.

Chairs Do More Than You Thinks
Pair a Harvest Table with elegant dining chairs, rough-hewn wood seating, a long communal bench, or a deliberately eclectic mix, and you're already telling a different story before a single flower goes down. Chairs are where a client's personality really comes through.
At an outdoor family gathering built around scattered food stations, we set dark wood crossback chairs against blush gauze runners and gold vases overflowing with pink hydrangeas mixing chair materials, colours, and shapes for a look that felt playful without trying too hard.
For a more refined indoor autumn wedding, light wooden chairs sat beneath a eucalyptus garland and white taper candles, with place settings sophisticated enough to match the season's quieter elegance.

The Harvest Table's range really shows up during the holidays, where we've styled it two completely opposite ways. One event called for a dark wood table, sleek black Isabella chairs, and red-and-black buffalo plaid runners and napkins, layered with overflowing greenery, white pillar candles, and metal lanterns. Warm and traditional, with a modern finish.

For a different event, we went the other direction: whitewashed Harvest Tables, light wood chairs, white wooden chargers, sage green plates, water goblets, and gold accents throughout.
